The Santa Fe Convention is discontinued. Please use the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting instead.

You can visit the home of the Dienst protocol specifications to learn more about Dienst. However, keep in mind that the Open Archives Dienst Subset will be replaced by the Open Archives Harvesting protocol. While that protocol is inspired on Dienst, its semantics and encoding will be different.
